That will be the adventure, which will be part of your journey: visiting the Tarangire or Serengeti Nationals Parks and get shocked by the most amazing show: Africa’s free and wild nature. Lions, hippos, elephants, giraffes, leopards… they are all there, so close to you and free that you will never forget the experience.
After five-seven days enjoying your safaris and the possibility to meet the Masai culture, you will be undoubtedly tired. So that’s the moment for the second part of the trip. The part where you come to Zanzibar and spend the last days in a total relax. White beaches, warm waters, snorkelling, quiet walks in Jozani Forest or amidst the spice plantations; wouldn’t it be the perfect way to finish your honeymoon?
How to travel to Tanzania and Zanzibar
There are multiple combinations for you to come. If you want to visit the National Parks, you should stay in the capital, Arusha. However, its airport is small: maybe it’s a better option for you to fly to Kilimanjaro International Airport, which it’s just an hour far from Arusha by car.
When the safaris are done, it’s time to travel to Zanzibar. Our lovely island has an International Airport, so it’s easy to come directly from Arusha or Kilimanjaro airports. It can be a bit expensive, though you've got more affordable options. Flying to Dar es Salaam is one of them: the flight is usually cheap, and from there you can catch an affordable ferry to Stone Town.
Moreover, as we often say, we've got an international airport, so you can quickly fly back home from here after finishing your honeymoon with a few days of tropical paradise.
